We organize Dipawali festival Tour in Nepal Nov 2016. Dipawali Known as the festival of Lights. This festival is known as Tihar in Nepal and diwali in India. Tihar is celebrated for five days.In this year 2015 Tihar festival date from 09 Oct to 13 Oct. Five
days 09 Oct first day is a crow festival (Kaag Tihar). 10 Oct is Dog
festival (Kukur Tihar). 11 Oct is God Laxmi Puja ( Laxmi Puja). 12
Oct Gobardhan Puja (Ox Tihar).13 Oct is the main festival day Bhai
Tika.
Period of the festival Houses are illuminated at night
and special sweets of different varieties are prepared. Hindu people
worship goddess Laxmi, the Goddess of wealth and prosperity. On the
final day of Tihar every sister worships her brothers and prays to Yama, the god of death,
for their brothers' progress, success and long life. Sisters put
colorful Tika on the brother’s forehead and garland them with flowers.
The brothers, in turn, give Tike to their sisters after which gifts are
also exchanged. Like Dashain, Tihar ends with a grand feast with all
family members together.
Government offices remain closed during this Depawali festival.
Day 01: Welcome to Kathmandu airport Upon

Day 02: These day breakfasts at home
after breakfast we take you a full day sightseeing and cultural tour
around Kathmandu city lunch in tourist restaurants. We visit the famous
Pashupatinath temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square & the Patan Durbar
Square. Drive back to private home (Homestay) dinner with Nepali family
overnight.
Day 03: Full days celebrate dipawali festival with Nepali family with full board at home Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner at the home.
Day 04: Full day stay at home, you are participating the festival with full board.
Day 05: Today we celebrate the "Tihar (BhaiTika) Nepali
Sisters put colorful Tika on the your's forehead and garland you with
flowers and if you are a girl then you will put multi-colored Tika on
the Nepali Brother's forehead and exchange gifts and enjoy different
varieties Nepali traditional food overnight home with Nepali family you
will participant all the cultural programs.
Day 06: Breakfast in the home drive to Pokhara, check in hotel re-fresh and boating in fewa lakes back to hotel dinner and overnight .
Day 07: Early morning drive to Sarangkot
for sunrise from Sarangkot can see Scenic Annapurna Mountain view
breakfast and hiking down to Phedi and drive back to hotel, lunch after
lunch Halfday sightseeing tour Pokhara back to hotel dinner overnight.
Day 08: Breakfast at the hotel and drive
to Chitwan check in Resort re- fresh lunch and elephant back safari in
the evening enjoy the culture program dinner at the Resort.
Day 09: Morning jungle activities after lunch drive to Kathmandu, check in hotel dinner overnight.
Day 10: Breakfast half day sightseeing tour Bhaktapur and free day for relaxing shopping.
Day 11: Today we assist you to the airport for your further departure.
