1 day 2 night chitwan jungle safari tour
package is also known as short Nepal jungle safari package. You will
take a 20 min flight from Tribhuwan international airport Kathmandu to
Bharatpur airport. We will drive you to Chitwan national park. After
your lunch you will visit tharu cultural village which are surrounded
near chitwan national park. You will move to bank of Rapti River for
sunset view. At night you will visit tharu village again for watching
local Tharu cultural dance.
Second day will start as you leave the hotel for canoe riding. You will join jungle walk for watching different birds, wild animals, Royal Bengal tiger, and crocodile. After jungle walk
you will take an elephant bath where you will ride an elephant and
elephant will pump water towards you from the trunk. After elephant
bathing you will take elephant safari through the jungle. At evening you will return to Kathmandu or Pokhara by vehicle.
Day 1:Arrival at Bharatpur Airport
our staff will receive you by private transport or arrive by public bus
in Tadi or Tourist bus in chitrasari. You will then be transferred to
Lodge where you will be offered refreshment & be given a briefing on
lodge & its facilities and full day program schedule. This time is

14.30: Village tour to a nearby ethnic
Tharu village where you will learn more about the life and lifestyle of
the Tharus. Visit to the National Park Visitor’s centre where you can
learn more about the history of the National Park and about wildlife
& Sun set view from the bank of Rapti River.
18.30: Tharu cultural dance
presentation (which you will also participate in) by the local villagers
or Slide show presentation on almost everything under the Chitwan.
19.30: Dinner.
Day 2: 06.30 : Wake up call.
07.00 : Breakfast.
07.30 : Canoe ride along the Rapti
River. An excellent opportunity for Bird Watching and for seeing the 2
rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish eating
Gharial. + Jungle Walk + on the way back one can enjoy the elephant
bathing.
13.00 : Lunch.
15.00 : Elephant Safari. An excellent
opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild bore,
monkey, leopard, sloth bear and the Royal Bengal Tiger (If you are
lucky). You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have
made Chitwan their home.
18.30 : Tharu cultural dance presentation or Slides show presentation.
19.30 : Return Back to kathmandu or Pokhara by Vehicle
