What is Trekking?Trekking is basically walking; it is habitually practical to overland journeys made on foot. Trekking is the multi-days wonderful walking journey enjoying the scenery of countryside regions, rugged hills and valleys. From one place to the next you walk regularly on reasonable trails with only some tome encounter on snow. The walking days on the trek are from 5 to 6 hours each day. Trekking is not the climbing or mountaineering so no need climbing equipment for trekking. Trekking TypeThere are two main styles trek common in Nepal- tea-house treks and fully supported camping treks. Tea House TreksTea House Treks are possible on popular routes including Annapurna Circuit, Langtang and Everest. These involve meals and overnight stays in modest accommodation at teahouse and lodges along the route. You are accompanied by a guide who leads the trek and porters who carry luggage and equipment.Tea house trekking is the most popular form of trekking in Nepal. A tea house is a basic lodge that offers a bed and meals, most of the tea house you can get/buy hot showers. You can have Nepali to western food and can choose it from the Menu. It involves stopping each night to eat and sleep at a local Tea House on the way. Our guide leads you along your route, organizing and paying for places where you eat and sleep so the only thing you have to worry about is getting your boots off and your feet up before a hot shower and a wholesome meal. Fully Supported Camping TreksAllow you to venture into places untouched by mass tourism and to set your own pace. All food and camping equipment is taken with us, along with guides, cooks and porters to take care of all the logistical details, set up camp and prepare delicious meals.Camping trek is fully supported trek which is away from the main trekking routes you walk through lonely and remote areas of Nepal. The complete equipment (2-man tents with comfortable mats, community tent, kitchen equipment, food etc is provided by us. There will be also a trained cook to ensure your physical well-being, kitchen boys and porters in your team. A guide will be employed to handle the whole trekking program. However, while you are on a camping trek, you will have to stick to the program and schedule which is pre-arranged by the guide.
All the meals will be prepared on the way using the fresh vegetables available in the surrounding area. Some tinned food will also be served. While your exposure to all the elements of the mountain environment will be more direct by camping, the interaction with the local communties is less direct in this option.
