Rapids are classified based on the conditions of the water. These classifications indicate how intense and difficult Rafting can be in the particular river.
Like other outdoor sports, Rafting can be a dangerous activity if precautions are not met. That is why it is usually done in groups and under the supervision of an experienced guide.
