Buddhist pilgrimage Tour
The largest stupa in Nepal and revered by both Tibetan and Newar Buddhist with the Tibetans believing that the stupa contains the bone relics of the past Buddha Kashyapa. The colossal and ancient stupa of Bouddhanath is 36 meter high At the ground level there is a brick wall with 147 inches and 108 images of the meditational Buddha inset behind copper player wheels. Early morning and evening are the times to visit Bouddha to join the local residents in Kora (walking the pilgrim's circuit, sometimes with Tibetan pilgrims on their hands and knees).
Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Buddha, is situated about 22 km. from Bhairahawa (Siddharthanagar), below the Churia range, 24 km. south from the foothills of the Himalayas, on the western bank of Telar river in Rupandehi district of Lumbini zone in Nepal. It is about 300 km. west of capital city Kathmandu. Kapilvastu, Rupandehi and Nawalparasi Terai districts of Lumbini Zone are around Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Buddha, which are fertile and densely populated.It is about 34 km. from Naugarh Railway Station on the North-Eastern Railway of India. Buddha, Known as the Lord of Asia, was born in Lumbini during the full moon day in the month of Baisakh in 623 BC. He was born under a sal (Shorea robusta) tree when Mayadevi was going to her maternal town on the occasion of delivery.
Itinerary Detail
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Arrival at Kathmandu airport, we met, and transferred to hotel and free at leisure.

Day 02: Visit Buddhist Religious Sites in Kathmandu.
Full day tour to various popular Buddhist sites in the Valley will be organized for you. You'll visit Swoyambhu Nath Stupa, Bauddha Nath Stupa, Kashya Swoyambhu Stupa, White Monastery, Kapan Monastery and several other Buddhist shrines, Vihars and spots.
Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 03: Visit Patan City & Pharping Village.
AM: After breakfast visit Buddhist Vihars, Maha Bauddha temple, Ashokan Stupa , Machhendra Nath temple in Patan City. Afternoon, drive to Pharping village - 18 Kms.- 1hour drive, where you'll visit various monasteries, temple of Vajra Jogini, recently built Stupas, temple of Shesh Narayan and a cave of Padma Sambhawa. Drive back to Kathmandu in the evening.

Day 04: Drive to Lumbini.
The road to Lumbini from Kathmandu is about 310 Kms and it takes about 7/8 hours drive. Almost half of the road till Narayan Ghat follows river, then passes through various interesting high-way settlements, forest and fields. The journey is rewarding as it offers the interior beauty of Nepal.

Day 05: Visit Lumbini Garden & Surroundings.
Lumbini - the birth place of Lord Buddha and the founder of Buddhism, known as Buddha or the enlightened one. This is confirmed by the existence of an inscribed pillar erected 318 years after the event by the great Buddhist emperor Ashoka, who visited Lumbini in 245 BC and left a number of his famous inscribed pillars in the region.

Day 06: Drive back to Kathmandu.
Drive to Kathmandu. Your drive takes about 8 hour and transfer to Hotel.

Day 07: Departure from Kathmandu
Breakfast at hotel and free at leisure till times transfer to airport for flight.
